DISTANCE COURSES (OPEN AND REGULAR)

Sonari College has a study centre named Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU) under Govt. of Assam approved by DDE, UGC and HRD; and running successfully since January, 2008. The aim of this centre is to provide quality education to the learning who are deprived of higher education due to various economic and other allied reasons. The ongoing courses of the study centre are Bachelor Preparatory Programme (BPP), Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.), Bachelor of Mass Communication (BMC), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA),Master of Computer Application (MCA), Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication (DJMC), Diploma in Creative Writing in English (DCWE), DAJ (Diploma in Assamese Journalism) and CCA (Certificate in Computer Application). The study centre of Sonari College is now running PG programmes in M.A. Ass., M.A. Eng., M.A. Psc., M.A. Soc. The University will start M.A. Eco. and M.A. Hist. in the current session. The regular student of Sonari College can take admission.
